An electronic message sign means, "a sign with messages that are displayed <br /> electronically or mechanically and change more frequently than once every twenty-four (24) <br /> hours regardless of the method by which the visual change is effected." (Redwood City Code <br /> Section 3.60) Provided that the messages on the Signs do not change more than once every <br /> twenty-four (24) hours, they are not electronic signs in violation of the City's Code even if the <br /> messages are displayed electronically. Pursuant to this Permit, the City may allow messages <br /> more frequently than once every twenty-four (24) hours but only at the discretion of the City <br /> Manager for the sole purpose of alerting the community to information relating to an <br /> emergency. <br /> (b) Permittee shall abide by City policies and any special terms or conditions <br /> which are stated herein and shall abide by any new or different conditions which may be <br /> imposed on permittees who are similarly situated. <br /> (c) Permittee agrees to maintain the Signs in a clean and good working <br /> order; and the encroachment area clean, clear, and free of debris and overgrown <br /> vegetation at Permittee's sote cost and expense. <br /> (d) Permittee shall not make, or cause to be made, nor allow to be made, <br /> alterations or improvements to the Property. If, at any time, any of Permittee's activities <br /> conducted pursuant to this Permit causes any damage to any portion of the Property, <br /> Permittee will promptly repair such damage to City's satisfaction. <br /> (e) Upon the termination or revocation of this Permit, Permittee shall restore the <br /> Property to current City street median standards. � <br /> 3. City's Access. City reserves the right to unlimited access to the Property, or any <br /> part thereof for municipal purposes, including, but not limited to, the perFormance of <br /> maintenance and repairs of any and all structures or public improvements, heretofore or <br /> hereafter installed and/or constructed in or upon the City easement, the inspection of the <br /> S:ATTY/PERMIT2015.001/REVOCABLE REDWOOD SHORES COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION <br /> REV:04-10-15 PT <br /> Page 3 of 9 <br />
