17 . Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program Best Management Practices <br /> (BMPs) for construction shall be implemented to protect water quality, in <br /> accordance with the approved Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan <br /> (SWPPP). BMP plan sheets are available electronically for inserting into <br /> project plans. <br /> 18. Plans shall be designed to meet the C3 requirements of the Municipal <br /> Regional Permit (MRP) NPDES Permit CAS 612008. <br /> 19 . Applicant's design professional shall complete NPDES Checklists, <br /> Attachment R2 of the City Standards, and provide for appropriate permanent <br /> stormwater control measures. http:l/www.flowstobay.orq/bs new development.php <br /> 20 . If construction is not complete by the start of the wet season (October 1 <br /> through April 30), the applicant shall implement a winterization program to <br /> minimize the potential for erosion and sedimentation . As appropriate to the <br /> site and status of construction , winterization requirements shall include <br /> inspecting , maintaining , cleaning all soil erosion and sedimentation controls <br /> prior to , during , and immediately after each storm event; stabilizing disturbed <br /> soils through temporary or permanent seeding , mulching , matting, tarping or <br /> other physical means; rocking unpaved vehicle access to limit dispersion of <br /> much onto public right-of-way; and covering/tarping stored construction <br /> materials, fuels, and other chemicals. Plans to include proposed measures to <br /> prevent erosion and polluted runoff from all site conditions shall be submitted <br /> for approval by CDD prior to beginning construction . As site conditions <br /> warrant, the City Engineer may direct the applicant to implement additional <br /> winterization requirements. <br /> 21 . Streets surrounding project site shall be restored to the satisfaction of the City <br /> Engineer at project completion . When this requires pavement restoration <br /> (such as a slurry seal), Applicant shall consult with the City Engineer to <br /> receive the preferred layout of pavement markings. <br /> 22 . The applicant shall replace, repair, repave, or reconstruct street, curb , gutter <br /> and sidewalk pursuant to City Ordinance chapter 18, article XIV. The City has <br /> identified the need for driveway and sidewalk reconstruction at the site . <br /> 23. New driveway approaches shall be installed in accordance with the City's <br /> Engineering Standards. <br /> 24. Traffic control for lane closures shall conform to the Work Area Traffic Control <br /> Handbook; street closures require prior submission of traffic control plans to <br /> be approved in advance <br /> Section 6.
