7.1.D. - Page 6 <br /> necessary. <br /> 5. Tabulation and evaluation of bid results. Assist in the evaluation of bid alternatives <br /> and make recommendations on award. <br /> 6. Assist in review and processing of substitution submittals during bid and construction <br /> phase. <br /> Task 4b—Construction Phase--work shall include but is not limited to the following: <br /> 1. Administration and Coordination of Construction Contract: CM will provide <br /> administrative, construction management and related services necessary to administer <br /> the Construction Contract on the project. CM's services shall include but are not <br /> limited to the following: <br /> a. Scheduling, coordinating and conducting pre-construction and construction <br /> meetings; recording, maintaining and distributing minutes thereof. <br /> b. Prior to start of project construction the CM and CITY will come to agreement <br /> on the format for all project records to be kept and turned over to the CITY at <br /> the completion of the project. Documents may be hard copies and/or <br /> electronic. CM will make recommendations on programs to be used for <br /> tracking and other record keeping needs. <br /> c. Develop and implement a procedure for the submittal and processing of <br /> submittals with the design consultant. This shall include preparing and <br /> updating logs. Provide preliminary review for completeness and general <br /> compliance of submittals that are to be reviewed by the design consultant. <br /> Provide review and response for submittals that do not involve the design <br /> consultant (such as Safety Plan, Fire Protection Plan). Sign and date such <br /> submittals with response: Reviewed, Received or Revise and Resubmit. <br /> d. Develop and implement a procedure for the submittal and processing of <br /> substitution requests with the CITY and the design consultant. This shall <br /> include preparing and updating logs. <br /> e. Develop and implement a procedure for timely handling and disposition of the <br /> Contractor's request for information (RFI) or clarifications with the design <br /> consultant. This shall include preparing and updating logs. <br /> f. Establish and implement procedures for the timely transmittal and receipt of <br /> communications, drawing and other information between CM, design <br /> consultant and the Contractor relating to construction of the project. <br /> g. Develop and implement a procedure for the timely submittal, processing and <br /> tracking of Contract Change Orders (CCO), Request for Price Quote (RPQ), <br /> etc. with the CITY. This shall include preparing and updating logs. <br /> h. Coordinate and maintain a project directory for the project, with emergency <br /> contact information. <br /> i. Review the Contractor's comprehensive schedule that establishes a base line <br /> and reports the status and progress of the project. The schedule should <br /> include details such as milestones and key activities to track project progress. <br /> Review the Contractor's three week look-ahead schedule.
