. :
 ,
o In all likelihood, we will exceed the sample size of 400 interviews based
on a review of survey results for similar hybrid surveys for agencies
throughout San Mateo County, however, we cannot promise a response
rate for the Intemet version of the survey. Having said this, we will
analyze all interviews collected during this survey process for inclusion
into the analysis and reporting for the 2015 City Satisfaction Survey.
• Merging the Internet and telephone data files, as well as processing and
weighting the data to adjust for population distribution and strategic
oversampling, as needed to reflect the larger resident (voters and non-voters)
population of the City of Redwood City according to ACS estimates or the U.S.
Census.
• Developing a topline report of aggregate findings for the City. We will also meet
with Redwood City to review the topline/aggregate survey results. This will help
our more detailed analysis and reporting to be of maximum value to the City.
• Analyzing the survey results and preparing a report of findings conclusions, and
recommendations for the City (draft and final formats), which directly addresses
the research objectives outlined for the 2015 City Satisfaction Survey. Our
reports typically include sections for key findings and conclusions, methodology
discussion, analysis of the questions and topics in narrative and graphical
format, comparisons to previous city satisfaction surveys, as well as a copy of
the survey questionnaire and a complete set of cross tabulations for all survey
questions.
• Presenting the results and recommendations from the 2015 City Satisfaction
Survey to Redwood City administration/staff and Council. Costs are valid for up
to finro total presentations as part of our project fees presented later in this
proposal.
• Post-survey consulting on the results and recommendations from the 2015 City
Satisfaction Survey throughout the range of planning, outreach, and other
activities based on the survey results, as need by the City of Redwood City.
Because of our experience in conducting city satisfaction and community priorities
surveys, Godbe Research generally prefers to conduct a hybrid survey over about an
eight to ten week time frame. However, preliminary results can be made available
much sooner, if required. Below, we have provided a general time line in number of
days to illustrate the time needed for each task in the overall research process.
Please note that Redwood City meetings (e.g. project kick off meeting) and tasks (e.g.
questionnaire review) have been italicized for easy review below. Finally, a formal time
line with actual calendar dates will be provided shortly after the project kick off meeting,
where we can collectively discuss City timing needs, meeting dates (e.g. Council
REV:03-16-15 MLG Page 11 of 13
ATTY/AGR.2015.050/Godbe Research
