Caltrans Coordination — The applicant shall obtain an Encroachment permit from <br /> California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) at (510) 286-4417 for all proposed <br /> work within the State of California right-of-way (El Camino Real). The applicant shall <br /> coordinate with Caltrans to attempt to remove the dedicated right turn lane on El Camino <br /> for Wilson Street. If the right turn lane is removed, parallel parking shall be added along <br /> the El Camino Real frontage in place of the turn lane. [COA][ENGINEERING] <br /> 24. Undergrounding Utilities - This project requires the undergrounding of all overhead <br /> utilities. The undergrounding shall be shown on the building permit plans. <br /> [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> 25. Sewer Capacity— The applicant shall submit a report demonstrating that the existing <br /> sewer mains have sufficient capacity for the project. If the sewer main is not sufficient, <br /> the applicant must construct and install new sewer mains sufficient to meet <br /> requirements. This study must meet the following requirements: [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> a. Be prepared by a licensed engineer in conformance with the City's Engineering <br /> Standards <br /> b. Consider existing, proposed, and other approved projects and applications <br /> currently under review in determining the needed capacity. <br /> 26. Peak Wet Weather Flow Capacity — The applicant shall reduce inflow and infiltration <br /> to offset increased sewer demand from the project by replacing aged sewer mains or <br /> pay an equivalent in-lieu fee. The length of pipe replacement required or amount of fee <br /> will be based on the project's sewage generation projection (Attachment L of the City's <br /> Engineering Standards). [COA][ENGINEERING] <br /> 27. Sewer Lateral Limit — The project is limited to one sewer lateral. <br /> [COA]jENGINEERING] <br /> 28. Water Mains -The applicant shall submit to City, and obtain approval of, an evaluation <br /> and report, prepared by a licensed engineer, in conformance with the City's Engineering <br /> Standards, demonstrating that the proposed water main meets the domestic and fire <br /> flow requirements in accordance with City Code Section 38.26 and the International Fire <br /> Code. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> a. The project site is served by a water main less than 6" in size. A new 8" <br /> minimum water main shall be extended across the property frontages from the <br /> nearest point of connection (Chapter 38, Article VI of the Municipal Code). <br /> 29. Water Meters — The project is limited to one "master" water meter for domestic water <br /> service.
