Attachment 1 <br /> <br /> <br /> Police Department 1301 Maple Street <br /> JR Gamez Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> Chief of Police Telephone (650) 780-7122 <br /> Fax Line (650) 780-7149 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary State Alcohol and Beverage Control <br />permits and San Mateo County Health permits. <br /> <br />9. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and save <br />harmless the City, its City Council, officers, boards, commissions, employees, <br />volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or claims to which the City <br />may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of <br />the performance or failure to perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising <br />from or arising out of said event or any activities herein permitted. <br /> <br />10. City Services: Except as otherwise noted, the City agrees to provide those services <br />requested in the letter dated March 31, 2015, in furtherance of the activities herein <br />permitted. <br /> <br /> Specifically, the City agrees to provide the following services: <br /> <br /> Public Works: <br />(a) Provide two street sweepers at approximately 10:00 am to pick up horse <br />droppings along the parade route and the designated horse lineup areas. Street <br />sweeping is also requested for the festival area at approximately 7:00 pm after <br />the festival has closed on July 4th. Street sweeping in the festival area will be <br />delayed until 7:00 pm to allow vendors to complete their breakdown and leave <br />the area. <br /> <br />(b) Provide traffic cones and street barricades for the fun run, parade, festival, and <br />other traffic diversion requirements as determined by the Police Department. <br />Delivery time, location, quantity and type of PCA requested barricades for the <br />July 4th events shall be listed in an appendix to be provided. <br /> <br />(c) Install American flags along the parade route immediately prior to the parade. <br />On July 4th, the flags are to be removed immediately following the parade to <br />reduce the possibility of theft. <br /> <br />(d) Access to electrical outlets in and around Courthouse Square for public <br />announcement and entertainer use. Access to outlets on Broadway/Theatre <br />Way in support of Festival operations. The locations are to be determined. <br /> <br />7.1.B. - Page 6
