The Cify is contineiing to <br /> take the lead this year with obtaining major corporate sponsors to pay for a 20 minute <br /> high aerial show;will provide onsite entertainmeirt for spectators prior to the show; <br /> provide public notification;and manage security,police services,and any necessary <br /> Permitting- <br /> Fireworks lhsplav Detxils• <br /> The display will be conducted by a ticensed fireworks vendor and will be lauached from <br /> the concrete Wharf#4. The City's Fire Marshall,Pazics/Rec.Director,Port Staff(Don <br /> Snaman),and the pyro-technician,have met to confirm the location. The Fire Marshall <br /> concurs that the location is safe and has received the necessary permits and paperwork <br /> from the pyro-technician. <br /> Pyrospectaculars,Inc.(the licensed fireworks company)has rr,ceived approval from the <br /> US Coast Guard and the"Marine Events Permit"is attached for reference. RTith the <br /> apgroval&om the US Coast Guard to la�mch the fireworks from Whazf#4,we do not <br /> have to coordinat�the use of a barge and the costs,insurance and logistics requirements <br /> that go with that. <br /> The show will last for approximately 2Q minutes and will begin at 930 pm. <br /> The fireworks vendor has obtain aIl necessary permits in a+ccordance with State Iaw. <br /> Copies of these permits have been provided to the City's Fire Marshall. <br /> $C8qt18d <br /> RESO P-2272 <br />
