<br /> <br />ATTY/ORD.408/ZONING ORD AMENDMENT 2ND READING– HILLSIDE <br />REV: 06-12-15 VR-RS <br />Page 1 of 19 <br />ORDINANCE NO. ____ <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE TO ADDRESS SINGLE-FAMILY HOME <br />CONSTRUCTION, ADDITIONS, AND MODIFICATIONS IN THE <br />HILLSIDE AREAS AND PUBLIC NOTICE REGULATIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Zoning Ordinance Amendment is composed of changes to the <br />RH and R-1 Zoning District Regulations, Supplementary Regulations, Architectural <br />Permit Regulations, and Public Notice Regulations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 7, 2014, the Planning Commission held a public hearing <br />to hear public testimony and provide direction on potential changes to the regulations; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 20, 2015, the Planning Commission held a public hearing <br />to consider staff-recommended changes to the regulations and provide direction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 3, 2015, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to <br />consider a draft ordinance with the proposed changes to the Zoning Ordinance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a notice of public hearing on the proposed amendments was mailed <br />to potentially affected properties within the City and properties within 300 feet and duly <br />published in the Daily News 10 days prior to the public hearing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the duly noticed April 13, 2015, public hearing, the City Council <br />considered the whole of the record, including the Initial Study Checklist and Negative <br />Declaration dated February 27, 2015 and public comments received within the comment <br />period; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after the public hearing, the City Council considered and found that <br />the Initial Study and Negative Declaration are adequate and comply with CEQA and <br />adopted the Initial Study and Negative Declaration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the June 22, 2015 public hearing, the City Council considered the <br />whole of the record, including with respect to the Negative Declaration. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7.4.A. - Page 3
