The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. Section 2. This Zoning Ordinance Amendment was presented to the City Council at its meeting on June 22, 2015 and was filed and made available at the Office of the City Clerk. Section 3. Based on the facts in the staff report, written and oral testimony, and exhibits presented, the City Council finds the Zoning Ordinance Amendment to be in the public interest and in conformance with the General Plan. The text of the Zoning Ordinance Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference. Section 4. Article 4 and Article 5 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance regarding RH and R-1 Zoning District regulations are hereby repealed and replaced with Article 5 as shown on the Attached Exhibit A. Section 5. Article 2 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance regarding Definitions is hereby amended to add the definition of “Average Slope” as shown on the Attached Exhibit A, and to delete the diagrams at the end of Article 2 and replace them with the diagrams shown on the Attached Exhibit A. Section 6. Article 32.2 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance regarding Supplementary Lot Area Requirements for Sloping Sites is hereby amended as shown on the Attached Exhibit A. Section 7. Article 45 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance regarding Architectural Permits is hereby repealed and replaced with Article 45 as shown on the Attached Exhibit A. Section 8. Article 49 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance regarding Public Notice is hereby repealed and replaced with Article 49 as shown on the Attached Exhibit A. Section 9. If any section, subsection, clause or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion or sections of the Ordinance. The City Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares that it would have adopted the Ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared unconstitutional. 7.4.A. - Page 4
