Provide rabies investigation and quarantine services according to the procedures � <br /> described in this document and incorporated herein as Attachment 2 to this Services <br /> Agreement except as where the Contractor, in its sole opinian, belisves that such ' <br /> services would result in conf(ict with (aw andlor Confractor's mission and purpose as <br /> a humane socie#y for the prevention of crue(ty to animals. <br /> 5. Notify County by January 31� of the number of quarantines handled #or the past ' <br /> calendar year, brok�rt down by city, compared to the average number of : <br /> quarantines for the prior thrae caiendar years and shQwing in-home vs. sheltered <br /> quarantines. <br /> 6. Upon request by City ar County, investigate complaints of animal�rela#ed public <br /> nuisances, except excluded services as specified in this Exhibit Cy S@CtE011 31 <br /> EXCIUded Se1VIC@S. <br /> 7. Remove dead animais from the public right-of-way, except freeways and/or <br /> highways which are maintained by CALTRANS. <br /> 8. Remove stray dead domestic animafs from private property for na charge. <br /> 9. Remove owned domestic dead animals at the request of awner with a charge to the <br /> citizen requesfing the service. , <br /> 10. tnvestigate and follow up with impoundment, citation and/or prosecution of reparted <br /> anima) bites artd attacks in conjunction with City Attomey andlor District Attorney. <br /> 11.
