16.3 Field Enforcement shalJ inciude: <br /> a) Prioritv 1 Calls. Contractor shall respor►d withauf unnecessary delay to ' <br /> ail n�n-threatening Dangerous Animal Perm�t vioiafions; iate reports of ' <br /> animal bites or attacks where there is na longer an immeciiate threat to ' <br /> persons or praperty.-Priority 2 Calls shouid routinely bs resoived as soon : <br /> as reasonably possibfe, but always within twelve (12} ha�trs of receiving ' <br /> the call; and <br /> c) Prioritv 3 CaEls. Contractor shal� respand as soon as reasanably <br /> possible to calls pertaining to quarantines; non-threatening iaose dogs; <br /> stray livestock; or ttead animal pick up; and alf ather non-errzergency cails <br /> for service including pick Up of con�ned strays from the public, but always <br /> within twenty-four(24) hours of receiving the call. <br /> Notwithstanding any o#her provision herein, Cvntractor sha11 respond on <br /> Sundays, holidays, and after regular patral hot�rs (9pm-8am) only to calls in <br /> the Priority 1 and 2 categories unless staffing is available. <br /> In any case wherein the Contractor daes not believe it wi11 be able to <br /> respond within these guidelines, the Contractor shall inform the reporting <br /> party and/or the local iaw enforcement agency as to the reason for the delay ' <br /> and an an#icipated time frame for the Contractor's response. . <br /> 16.4 When fhere is reasonable beiief of a p�rson's or an anirnaPs exposure to ,' <br /> rabies, Gontractor will immediateiy notify Public Health personnel, ' <br /> 650.5732346, Sam-Spm, M-F or 650.363.�981 after hours/halidays. <br /> 17, (mpoundment <br /> 17.1 Within 24 haurs of receipt of a specific requesf from City and/or County Iaw ' <br /> enforcement agencies, Contractor shall promptly impounci any animal when <br /> lawfuliy requested. The requesting law Pnforcement agency musf be <br /> present at the scene of the impoundment and must provide Contractor with <br /> any warrants required for entry andlar impoundment.
