Excluded Services <br /> <br /> 31.1 Enforcement of regulations regarding the number of animals per <br />household. <br /> <br /> 31.2 Removal and/or disposal of dead marine animals. <br /> <br /> 31.3 Pick up of baby birds. <br /> <br /> 31.4 Pick up of dead animals (deer, wildlife or domestic) from freeways or <br />highways (1, 35 (Skyline Blvd.), 82 (El Camino Real), 84 (Woodside <br />Road), 92, 101, 109, 114, 230, 280, 380). Freeways and highways are <br />maintained by CALTRANS. <br /> <br /> 31.5 Respond to barking dog complaints or animal noise nuisance complaints. <br /> <br /> 31.6 Enforce state law and regulations related to the prevention of cruelty to <br />animals including but not limited to animal abandonment. <br /> <br /> 31.7 Respond to marine mammals/fish whether dead or alive. <br /> <br /> 31.8 Respond to pest-control issues (e.g., infestations, perceived or real, of <br />rats, mice, insects, gophers, wasps, or spiders). <br /> <br /> 31.9 Respond to mountain lions and any wildlife incidents that could constitute a <br />violation of the Contractor’s California Department of Fish and Wildlife <br />permits. <br /> <br /> 31.10 Respond to incidents involving dangerous escaped exotic animals. <br /> <br /> 31.11 Investigate dog vs. dog incidents at County and/or City or other approved <br />off-leash dog areas including dog parks, beaches, public parks, etc. <br /> <br /> 31.12 Routine patrol of leash-law enforcement in parks, beaches, and other <br />public places. Contractor will respond to complaints, calls, and observed <br />violations regarding off-leash dogs in parks, beaches, and other public <br />places, yet not complete routine patrols.
