Intercom systems <br />h. Installation of new animal shelter equipment that is not attached to the <br />structure. <br />i. Replacement of any equipment purchased by the Contractor for use in <br />animal sheltering or animal control operations: Contractor shall not <br />replace equipment to be paid for by Contract Funds without prior <br />approval from County of equipment to be replaced and cost if cost <br />exceeds $5,000 per individual item. If the need to replace such <br />equipment is due to Contractor misuse or negligence, as distinct from <br />wear related to appropriate use, Contractor shall replace such <br />equipment from its own funds not Contract Funds, or any other County <br />funds. Funds for approved replacement equipment not misused or <br />damaged by Contractor are to come from Contract Funds. Any <br />equipment or items purchased with Contract Funds or other County <br />funds is property of the County. Contractor shall use Contract Funds <br />for purchase of equipment or vehicles to be used at the Shelter for <br />providing services, which equipment and vehicles shall be County <br />owned. <br />j. Paint offices, conference rooms and staff bathrooms. <br />k. Keep the landscaped areas, walkways and patios, adjacent sidewalks, and <br />other common areas in and around the County facility clean and in good <br />repair <br />I. Sweep the entrances to County facility as needed and will keep glass <br />doors clean <br />m. Contractor is solely responsible for custodial and pest control at the <br />shelter. <br />15 <br />
