any debris caused by the repairs upon completion of the task. <br />h) Facilities Services and Contractor will comply with all state and <br />federal laws and regulations regarding the handling and disposal <br />of materials and waste products associated with the normal <br />operations of the facility or its maintenance that could impact <br />public safety and the environment. <br />i) Facilities Services will research and/or recommend <br />special materials, devices, or services if it deems this <br />appropriate and if desired by Contractor <br />j) Facilities Services will make appropriate referrals as it deems <br />necessary or appropriate for work outside the scope of baseline <br />maintenance services <br />k) Facilities Services will coordinate with Risk Management, <br />Environmental Health, Sheriff's Office, local fire departments, <br />and/or other regulatory and health and safety agencies as it <br />deems necessary for issues related to building safety and <br />inspection. <br />2. Contractor is to: <br />a. Designate a Maintenance Coordinator(s) to be the primary point of contact <br />for Facilities Services issues. <br />b. Provide accurate and full details of services requested <br />c. Report mechanical malfunctions or other needed repairs to Facilities <br />Services promptly and complete necessary services request form(s). <br />d. Encourage all employees to be energy conscious. It's good for the <br />environment as well as keeping your costs down. <br />3. The parties acknowledge that County will be making an inventory and tagging <br />all equipment and vehicles that are County owned or purchased using any <br />Contract Funds. Contractor agrees to use best efforts to assist and cooperate <br />with County in making its inventory of equipment and vehicles which are owned <br />by County in whole or in part. As part of this effort to assist the County in making <br />its inventory, Contractor shall maintain and provide to County, within thirty <br />days of signing this Agreement, a current inventory of all equipment previously <br />paid for with non -Contract Funds owned by Contractor or paid for in part with <br />non- Contract Funds, used at the shelter and having a current fair market value <br />of $1,000 or more. <br />4. In event of termination or expiration of this Agreement, the County shall have <br />the option to purchase any equipment or vehicle that has been paid for in part <br />out of non -County Funds by paying to Contractor the depreciated value of <br />Contractor's share of the equipment. In the event County opts not to purchase <br />this equipment or vehicle, Contractor shall pay to County the depreciated value <br />of its share of the equipment or vehicle. <br />17 <br />
