Downtown Marina—provide assistance with management. <br /> 2. City Owned Parcels and Properties—create inventory and recommendations for long term <br /> use. <br /> 3. Community Benefits Ordinance—provide advice on program implementation including <br /> proforma analysis <br /> Based on the conversations with departing Economic Development Manager Sean Brooks and <br /> yourself, the following additional task and sub tasks are suggested as an amendment to the <br /> scope of services: <br /> 4. Economic Development Services—provide the following services while the City recruits <br /> for a new Economic Development Manager over the next three to four months: <br /> • Farmers Market Agreement Amendment—to allow deletion of requirement for annual <br /> street closure permit. <br /> • Retail Attraction Program—work with the City Manager and the City Council <br /> Economic Development Committee to determine if a program is appropriate and what <br /> elements might be included in the program. <br /> • Support Council Connection Reports -provide periodic information to the City <br /> Manager on new businesses for inclusion in the reports to the City Council. <br /> • Evaluate Digital Sign Proposals -provide recommendations to the City Manager on <br /> whether to pursue proposals from advertising sign companies to install digital signs on <br /> Highway 101. <br /> • Office Presence—be available at City Hall offices 1 -2 two days per week, starting on <br /> Thursdays of each week and an additional day on Tuesday if needed. Work items that <br /> are on a critical schedule will be allocated time on other days as needed from outside the <br /> City offices.
