DCHIBIT"A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> 1. Scope of Services. Management Partners will assist the City by executing the foliowing <br /> scope of services in a satisfactory and proper manner in accordance with direction provided by <br /> the Assistant City Manager, or designee. More specific scopes will be developed as projects <br /> and assignments are given by the Assistant City Manager, or designee but will include: <br /> 1. Docktown Marina: Provide assistance in managing (i.e., Harbor Master duties) <br /> Docktown Marina. This includes being a point of contact for pocktown residents, <br /> ensuring compliance with lease provisions and working with the City Attorney's office <br /> when there are lease violations. <br /> 2. City-Owned Parcels and Properties: Help create an up-to-date inventory of City of <br /> property, and brainstorm ideas for long term use of these properties. Provide advice and <br /> assistance in managing properties that currently have tenants. <br /> 3. Communifiy Benefits Ordinance: Provide advice on the implementation of this new <br /> program, and how it will be applied to proposed developments. This may include review <br /> of development pro-formas to determine whether the City is securing the best "deal° <br /> possible. <br /> Consultant understands there may be other community development projects identified during <br /> this period for which Management Partners can provide assistance. <br /> 2. Compensation and Method of Payment. Management Partners will invoice the City on a <br /> periodic basis as services are provided with a not to exceed total of $59,500. The hourly rate <br /> charged for services performed by Pat O'Keeffe, as the lead consultant on this engagement, will <br /> be $130/haur, plus travel expenses.. Senior Partner Jan Perkins will provide overall project <br /> direction. Other Management Partners consultants are available as needed, including economic <br /> and community development experts, financial experts, and management analysts. Other <br /> consultants may be provided on an as-needed basis as requested by the City at their regular <br /> hourly rates, ranging from $75 to $220 per hour depending on the individual assigned to the <br /> project.
