Gardner Center far <br /> Youth and their Communities, Stanford University, Kaiser Permanente, and First 5 of San Mateo <br /> County) and the CITY OF REDWOOD CTTY Acting as Fiscal Agent for Redwood City 2020. <br /> Collectively District, Redwood City 2020, and the City are hereinafter referred to as, the <br /> "Parties.,, <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. SERVICES <br /> Upon the terms and conditions set out below, the CONTRACTOR agrees to provide the <br /> following services: <br /> A. Scope of Services <br /> The CONTRACTOR agrees to provide the following services: <br /> Redwood City 2020 will deliver a dual-capacity professional development series, called Socios <br /> for Success, designed for RCSD staff, Redwood City Library staff, Fair Oaks Clinic staff, and <br /> parents/guardians to increase their capacity for interpersonal leadership and enhance their family <br /> engagement practices. Socios for Success helps family members and sta.ff authentically partner <br /> to promote all students' success. <br /> Socios for Success, is an important part of the Family Engagement Impact Grant, funded by the <br /> Heising Simons Foundation, which is a systemic, integrated, and sustainable project across <br /> community schools in the Redwood City School District. <br /> The Socios for Success series will be facilitated by Redwood City 2020 staff who will lead each <br /> training module and provide follow-up peer-to-peer coaching and support. <br /> By June 2016: <br /> • At least SO leaders (staff and parents/guardians) from Redwood City Community Schools <br /> (including Hoover, Garfield, Fair Oaks, Taft) will be trained in Socios for Success <br /> practices <br /> • A handbook of Socios for Success materials will be created and given to each trainee <br /> • At least 10 train the trainers workshops for Community Mobilization Team facilitators <br /> will be delivered <br /> • At least 10 model Community Mobilization Team meetings will be offered <br /> • One workshop series (at least three sessions) for staff from the Fair Oaks Clinic and <br /> Redwood City Public Library will be delivered <br /> REV:06-02-15 MLG <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2015.111/Redwood City School District-Socios For Success <br />
