(2) That on August 15, 196Q, this Council did adopt its Res- olution No. 3182, entitled "Resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City Giving Notice of, and Declaring its Intention to, Initiate on its own Motion Proceedings to Annex to said City Cer- tain Uninhabited Territory; Describing said Territory and Designa- ting it by the Name '�Highlands Territory No. 11' ; Giving its Reasons for Desiring said Annexation; Making Certain F indings Respecting said Proceedings; and Giving Notice of the Ti.me and Place said Council will hear Protests to said Annexation," wherein it gave notice of said proposed annexation, described said territory and designated it by the above mentioned name, made certain findings respecting said proposal and gave notice of the time and place said Council would hear protests thereto; and {3) That less than twelve registered voters resided within said territory at the time the above mentioned resolution was adopted by this Council; and (4) That the City Clerk has caused a copy of said Resolution No. 3182 to be published in the manner and within the time re- quired by law, and has also caused written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom such notice is required by law to be given; all in the manner and time required by 1aw; and (5) That this Council did in said Resolution No. 3182 set and designate October 3, 1960, at :the hour ot 8:00 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, as the day, hour, and place when and where said Council wauld hear protests against said an- nexation; and -2- _. �
