(6) That none of the territory within the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed is owned by a junior college dis- trict; and WHEREAS, this Council duly met and convened at said time and place for the purpose o:E hearing and passing upon all protests to said proposed, annexation, and also at the time (s) and place (s) to which such hearing was continued, and did at the hearing in open public session ask for protests, if any, to the proposed an- nexation and gave all persons full opportunity to protest said annexation and received evidence relevant to such annexation; and WHEREAS, this Council at the tame of said hearing found and determined that protests to the proposed annexation of the here- a:nafter described territory to the City of Redwoad City had not been made by owners of one-half of the value of said territory as shown by the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, California, nor by public owners equaZ to one-half of the value of public property within said territory as said va lue has been determined by said Council; � NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby approve the annexation to the City of �edwood City of all the territory designated as "Highlands Territory No. 11" and hereinafter descri.bed, and does also hereby ordain that said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Redwood City.
