All gates, doors or windows <br /> opening through the required enclosure shall, at all times,: <br /> be equ ipped with a self-closing and self-latching device <br /> designed to keep and capable of keeping such door, gate or <br /> window securely closed at all times when not in actual use; <br /> provided, however, that the doors or windows of any dwelling <br /> which forms any part of the required enclosure need not be so <br /> equipped. The self-closing and self-latching devices shall <br /> be not less than four feet above grade. <br /> SECTION 4. BuildincT Permits. Al1 plans submitted to the <br /> Building Inspector for swimming pools to be constructed shall <br /> show compliance with the requirements of this ordinance, and <br /> final inspection and approval of all swimming pools shall be <br /> withheld until all requirements of this ordinance :have been <br /> complied with. � <br /> SECTION 5. Minimum Structural Requirements. {a) Wire <br /> fences shall be constructed of wire mesh not less than 11-gauge <br /> galvanized steel wire supported on one and one-fourth inch dia- <br /> meter galvanized posts spaced not over ten feet on centers. <br /> Posts shall be embedded at least twelve inches into concrete <br /> fill-in holes not less than six inches in diameter and 18 inches <br /> in depth. <br /> (b) Wooden fences shall be constructed of material at <br /> least three-fourths inches thick and two inches in width sup- <br /> ported on solid 4" x 4" redwood posts apaced not over eight <br /> feet on centers. Posts shall be embedded at least 18 inches <br /> into conc.rete fill-in holes not less than eight inches in dia- <br /> meter and 24 inches in depth. If vertical boards are used, <br /> -2- <br />
