Penalty for the Violation of the Provisioxis Hereof, and Repealing <br /> Subsections 81 a�d 82-1/2 of Scetion 9 of Ordinance No. 447 of <br /> the City of I�edwood City�" adopted October 3, 1949, is hereby <br /> repealed. <br /> SECTION 24. Section 3 of Ordinaace l�o. 525. entitled °An <br /> Ordinance Tstablishi,nq a Park aad Recreatica Ccunmission of the <br /> City of Redwoc�d Cit� and Prescribing the Terms af the Members <br /> Thereof and Defining the Po�ers and Duties of Such Co�ission," <br /> adopted August 6, 1945, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 3. Regular meetings of the Comznission shall <br /> be held once a month at the Veterans Memorial Bnildi.ng, <br /> 1455 Madison Avenue, Redwood City, upon a date to be fixed <br /> aad determined by the Commission. All meetings shall be <br /> open to the public. Meetings of the Co�ission shall be <br /> presided over by the Chairn�an, or in his absence by the <br /> Vice-Chairman, or in his abseace by a Chairman pro tem, <br /> selected at such meetings by the members present. The pro- <br /> visions of Sectioxs 2 and 3 of Ordinance ATo. 926, relative <br /> to adjourned and special meetings of the Conncil, shall b� <br /> applicable to and shall govern the Park and Recreatioa <br /> Commission with the follotiving modifieations: the ter�a <br /> 'Commission' shall be substituted for the term 'Counci�, ' <br /> the term 'Chairman' shall be substituted for the term <br /> 'Maycr,� and the ter�n 'Secretary' shall be substituted fo= <br /> the term 'City Clerk. ' The Commission shall have available <br /> to it as it may requ ire, the services cf the City Engineer, <br /> City Attorney aad other department heads who may be required <br /> to attend a meeting of the Ccnn�ission to furnish t�chnical <br /> advice and services, subject to their prior engagement in <br /> othe r pub lic dut ie s." <br /> -5- <br />
