� SECTION 25. Sectioa 2 of Ordinance No. 567, entitled "An <br /> Ordinance Providi.ng for the Purchase, Acquisition, Installation, <br /> Operation, Maintenance, Snpervision, Regulating and Control of <br /> the Use of Parking Meters; Defining and Proniding for the Estab- <br /> lis��ment of Parking Meter Zones and Providing for the LTse of <br /> Loadinq Zone Hoods aad Revxation Thereof, Fixing the Charge <br /> Therefor; Providiag for the Enforcement Hereof and Providing <br /> Penalties for the Violation Hereof," adopted December 2, 1946, <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to <br /> establish zones to be knawn as 'parking meter zones' in <br /> such streets and public rights of way, and in publicly con- <br /> trolled parking lots, and during such hours, as are selected <br /> by ordinar�ce or resolution of the City Council of the City <br /> of Redwood City for the lac ation of such zones and estab- <br /> lishmeat of such hours. In said parking meter zoaes the <br /> C ity l�aanager shall cause parking mete=s to be installed <br /> and shall cause parking spaces to be designated as herein- <br /> after provided, and shall fix the time li.mitations for legal <br /> parki.ng in such zones, and the hours during the day and night <br /> when the parki.ng meter or meters must be. used and when the <br /> time limitatioas shall be effective, in cc�mpliance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance; and shall indicate the ti� <br /> limitations by design�ting the same on the parking tt�ter or <br /> meters or by appropriate signs posted in proximity to said <br /> �eter or meters in said zones." <br /> SECTIObT 26.
