No pawnbroker's permit shall be valid unless <br /> all applicable business licensing fees have been paid. <br /> SECTION 6. The City Council may revoke any permit granted <br /> pursuant to this ordinance if they find that any person engaged <br /> in the business of pawnbroker has violated any of the provisions <br /> of this ordinance. <br /> SECTION 7. Every person, firm or corporation engagi.ng in <br /> the business of pawnbroker shall keep a register and enter there- <br /> in all articles purchased or pledged, the date of their purchase <br /> or pledge and th.e name of the person from whom said articles were <br /> purchased or pledged. The register of any articles purchased <br /> or pledged shall be kept on the business premises and shall be <br /> available for inspection by any police officer at all times. <br /> SECTION 8. The pawnbroker's permit shall be prominently <br /> displayed at all times in the pawnbroker's place of business. <br /> SECTICtN 9. Any person, firm, association or corporation <br /> violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br /> of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished <br /> by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars {$500.00) or by <br /> imprisoncnent in the County jail for a period of not more than <br /> six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each <br /> such person, firm, association or corporation shall be deemed <br /> guilty of a separate offense for every day during any portion <br /> of which any violation of any provision of this ordinance is <br /> committed, continued or permitted by such person, firm, associa- <br /> tion or corporation, and shall be punished therefor as provided <br /> by this ordinance. <br /> - 2 - <br /> M... .....�, .o,,..._ .,,_r�.,�. .�.,m�.fi.. __ ..,..��.n �..�.�..,..4�. <br />
