. . . � �,,�,, REG:yc:4/28/61-12 <br /> � - -: _ �,� �..,,� . <br /> 4� � <br /> O R D I N A N C E N O. �_;,:' � � adopted 5/8/61 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF, AND ADDING SEC- <br /> TZONS 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 AND . 5.4 TO, ARTICLE II OF <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 639 RELATING TO THE LOCATION, <br /> WIDTH AND CONSTRUCTION OF DRTVEWAY APPROACHES <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 5 of Article II of Ordinance No. 639, <br /> entitled "An Ordinance Relating to and Regulating the Construction, <br /> Reconstruction and Repair of Walkways, Driveways, Curbs and Parking <br /> Strips on the Public Streets, Alleys and Ways in the City of <br /> Redwood City," adopted March 6, 1950, as amended to date, is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "SECTIOAT 5. Commercial and Industrial Drivewav Ap- <br /> proaches: The provisions of this section shall govern the <br /> locations and dimensions of driveway approaches to all real <br /> property situate in a11 zoning districts other than resid- <br /> entially zoned districts. No driveway approach shall be of <br /> greater width than 60 per cent of the actual lot frontage on <br /> any one street, nor more than 29 feet in width between the <br /> tops of ramps at the ends of driveway approaches, whichever <br /> is the lesser. In case of more than one driveway approach <br /> in front of any parcel, total width of driveway approaches <br /> shall not exceed the 60 per cent of frontage hereinbefore <br /> mentioned, and ther� shall be 22 feet or a multiple thereof <br /> of standard curb� gutter and sidewalk between such driveway <br /> approaches; provided, that the City Engineer may approve a <br /> distance between driveway approaches which is not a multiple <br /> of 22 feet if he finds (1) that Section 14 A of the Redwood <br /> City Zoning Ordinance is applicab le to the property, and that <br /> all of the parking reguirements of Section 14 A have been met, <br /> or (2� that Section 15.1 of the �edwood City Zoning Ordinance <br /> is applicable to the property and that all of the parking <br /> ; <br /> � ..r... ., .�.,��. _¢.�.,e _ . .. <br />
