7.1.B. - Page 2 <br /> The criteria for evaluation that were required to be satisfied included: <br /> • Applicants must be based in Redwood City or requesting funds for a <br /> performance in Redwood City. <br /> • Applicants requesting funds must be non - profit and demonstrate financial <br /> stability. <br /> • Funding requested must represent no more than 20% of an applicant's total <br /> annual budget. <br /> • A complete and accurate application detailing the proposed project along <br /> with attainable goals, objectives, time frames, and a self - evaluation <br /> procedure was to submitted by established due dates. <br /> • All grant applications were to be completed and presented to the Commission <br /> by an official representative of the requesting organization. <br /> • The applicant had to first obtain permission for the use and coordinate the time, <br /> date, and specific requirements for the event with the facility owners prior to <br /> applying for Commission funding. <br /> The Commission's recommendations for funding are contained in Attachment 1 of this <br /> report with a brief description of the purpose of each grant request. The Commission <br /> hereby requests that its proposed grant recommendations be approved and <br /> authorized by Council. <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> The Council could choose to modify the funding recommendations made by the Civic <br /> Cultural Commission. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> The Civic Cultural Commission's (CCC) large grants are funded by the City's General <br /> Fund. The total amount approved by the City Council for CCC activities for Fiscal Year <br /> 2015 -2016 is $58,896. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br /> This activity is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section <br /> 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or foreseeable <br /> physical change in the environment. <br />
