Mayor Hartnett advised it was time to set a date for the annual reviews of the City <br /> Manager and City Clerk. <br /> CONSENSUS: Mayor Hartnett determined it was the consensus of the Council to <br /> schedule a Closed Session on personnel matters to meet with the City Manager and the <br /> City Clerk on Tuesday, October 22, 1996 at 6:30 p.m. (205) <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 96-224 <br /> G. City Manager Everett discussed the schedule of Council meetings for the remainder of <br /> the year. He advised that it would be helpful to staff to cancel a meeting immediately <br /> before or after Thanksgiving due to time constraints. <br /> CONSENSUS: Mayor Hartnett determined it was the consensus of the Council to <br /> cancel the regular Council Meetings of October 14, December 2, December 23 and <br /> December 30,1996. APPEAL of the decision by the Zoning Administrator to deny four variances to <br /> construct a 2,100 square feet house at 3738 Laurel Way, Bradford Whitaker, <br /> appellant. Subject first discussed on August 26, 1996 with public hearing opened, <br /> testimony received and hearing was closed. (603) <br /> LOCATION: 3738 Laure! Way; Lot 16, Block 8 of Map entitled "HigWands of <br /> Emerald Lake No. I; Book 13, page 24 of Records of San Mateo County; APN <br /> 057-301-270; RH (Residential Hillside) Zoning District. <br /> REPORT: Senior Planner Passanisi, September 16, 1996 <br /> Mayor Hartnett said he talked to Jane Hannigan, who had submitted a Speaker's card, <br /> during the break and the materials she wanted to introduce to the Council were reports <br /> that had emanated from the City staff and were already on file.
