She described the editorial <br /> process and the planned evaluation. The Aqua Terra Project Video Presentation and Oral Report by Vice Mayor Howard, <br /> Chair of the Redwood City Pride and Beautification Committee; (205) <br /> Vice Mayor Howard advised that in 1994 the County of San Mateo began a program to <br /> remove abandoned vessels within waterways of the County's jurisdiction with the help of <br /> the foIIowing agencies: The San Mateo County Sheriff Department, Redwood City Police <br /> Department, Redwood City Fire Department, the Coast Guard, BCDC, Fish and Game, the <br /> Water Quality Control Board, the County Health Department, the City of Redwood City, <br /> the Port of Redwood City, Congresswoman Eshoo's office and Senator Feinstein's office. <br /> She described the City's efforts in the Aqua Terra Project to clean up Redwood City <br /> waterways in Phase I, which focused on removing abandoned boats in Redwood City <br /> waterways. She said Phase I is on-going with the cooperation of all the agencies and the <br /> Redwood City Port tenants as weII. Vice Mayor Howard said the Aqua Terra Project's <br /> participants realized they needed a plan to maintain the cleaned-up waterways, and a <br /> Citizen's Action Group was formed with the Police Department, Fire Department and <br /> members of the Pride and Beautification Committee with Fire Marshal VeIIa and Vice <br /> Mayor Howard as liaisons to the Committee. Vice Mayor Howard introduced three <br /> members of the Committee, GJ.
