<br /> Committee Member Lorianna Kastrop described the new process being instituted to <br /> formalize in depth research into the over 50 agencies applying for CDBG and HSFA <br /> funds, including more on-site visits, more HHCC meetings, and the recordation of <br /> information into permanent records for future use. <br /> Committee Member Sue Keely emphasized the need for a State approved City <br /> Housing Element and said affordable housing in Redwood City was a high priority <br /> with the Committee, and without the approved Housing Element the City was unable <br /> to take advantage of funding opportunities. Member Keely expressed the Committee's <br /> strong interest in the Franklin Street development.
