" (b) Number of Exits. Not less than two exits shall be <br /> provided from buildings or portions thereof housing Groups H <br /> and I occupancies having an occupant load of more than ten; <br /> or Housing Group F occupancies having an occupant load of <br /> more than 30; or Housing Groups A, B, C and G occupancies <br /> having an occupant load of more than 50. Groups C and D <br /> occupancies more than one story in height shall have not less <br /> than two remotely located exits from each floor. For re- <br /> qui=ements for Graups D and E occupanaies, see Sections 3319 <br /> and 3320. <br /> `"Buildings, or portions thereof, having an occupant load <br /> of 500 to 999 shall have not less than three exits. <br /> "'Buildings, or portions thereofr having an occupant load <br /> of 1w000 or more shall have not less than four exits. <br /> "Each dwelling unit above the first story of Group H <br /> occupancies shall have access to not less than two remotely <br /> located exits from the floor on which it is located. and each <br /> floor above the second story and basements or cellars of <br /> other occupancies shall have not less than two exits. <br /> "When additional exits are provided and are identified <br /> as exits, they shall conform to all the provisions for <br /> required exits. <br /> " (c) Width. The total width of exits in feet sha11 <br /> be not less than the total occupant load served divided by <br /> 50.
