Section 3 .15 Freestanding signs shall not exceed 350 square feet in area when installed on any parcel of real property which has not been improved by the construction of any building and shal� not exceed 150 feet in area when located on any parcei which has been improved by the construction of a building. A sign in excess vf 150 square feet shall be removed or altered to comply with this section within 90 days after the construction, subsequent to the adoption of this ordinance, of a building on the same garcel. Section 3 .16 (a) The total height of a freestanding sign sha11 not exceed 35 feet. (b) Freestanding signs with over 150 square feet of area shall have an open space of not less than two feet between the bottom of the sign and the ground level or any planter box around the base of the sign. This open space may be filled in with decorative lattice work which does not �lose off more than one- half of any square foot of such open space . Section 3 .17 Not more than one freestanding sign shall be placed or maintained on any parcel in one ownership, including shopping centers. Section 3.18 The total area of all wall signs on any wall ot a structure shall not exceed 25 per cent of the wall area, including openings, when said wall area does not exceed 500 square feet. When the wall area exceeds 500 square feet the total ar�a of such wall signs shall not ex�eed 125 square feet plus five per cent of the wali area in excess of 500 square feet. Section 3.19 (a) No wall sign shall extend beyond the top of the wall to which it is attached by a distance in excess of 30 per cent of the total height of such wall face measured from -11- (Rev.}
