�ECTION 3. Sections 18 and 19 of the above mentioned <br /> Ordinance No. 952 are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 4. �ection I8 is hereby added to the above mentioned <br /> Ordinance No. 952, to read: <br /> "Section 18. No sewer connection permit shall be <br /> issued after the effective date of this section to serve <br /> any property located outside the corporate limits of the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br /> "Notwithstanding the foregoing, the City Council may <br /> authorize the issuance of a sewer connection permit to <br /> serve property located outside the City when it f inds <br /> exceptional or extraordinary conditions affecting that <br /> property. The authorization shall be made by resolution <br /> and may be made subject to such terms, conditions and fees <br /> as the Council f inds necessary or appropriate." <br /> SECTION 5. Article II� commencing at Section 20, is hereby <br /> added to the above mentioned Ordinance No. 952, to read: <br /> "ARTICLE II, SEWE R CONNECTION FEE� <br /> "Section 20. . Every application for a permit for making <br /> a connection to a public sewer or a sewer lateral shall be <br /> accompanied by the following connection fees: <br /> " (a) A basic connection fee of Seventy-five Dollars <br /> ($75.00) for any connection, whether an original <br /> connection or for a reconnection resulting from <br /> the construction of a new structure. <br /> " (b) For a connection serving any duplex, or two <br /> family dwelling, an additional fee of Forty-five <br /> Dollars ($45.00) shall be paid. <br /> " (c) For a connection serving any residential structure, <br /> or group of residential structures on a building <br /> site in one ownership,r containing a total of <br /> more than two dwelling units, an additional fee <br /> shall be paid in accordance with the following <br /> schedule for each unit in excess of twa units: <br /> -3- <br />
