PROVIDE Ft:JNDS FOR THE RETIREMENT PLAN, AND <br /> FIl�ING AND LEVYING THE TAX RATE THEREFOR <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOE� ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. The total amount of money to be raised by taxa- <br /> tion upon the taxab le property within the City of Redwood City <br /> to provide revenue to meet the general municipal expenses and to <br /> carry on the various departments of said City for the fiscal year <br /> July l, 1963 - June 30, 1964; to pay the interest and principal <br /> upon all of the outstanding bonded indebtedness of said City, �.ue <br /> and becoming payable during said fiscal year; to maintain the <br /> public library of said City during said fiscal year; and to pro- <br /> vide funds for the City' s contribution to the retirement plan <br /> voted at the municipal election on April 9, 1940; is hereby fixed <br /> at the total sum of One Million, Eight Hundred Thirty-one Thousand, <br /> One Hundred Seventy-Nine Dollars ($1,831, 179.00) . <br /> SECTION 2. The following general and special tax rates for <br /> the areas hereinafter set forth are hereby levied and fixed for <br /> the f iscal year July 1, 1963 - June 30, 1964, to raise the total <br /> revenues set forth in Section 1 hereof in the amounts set forth <br /> herein as follows, to wit: <br /> (a) One Million, Four Hundred Twenty-f ive Thousand, Nine <br /> Hundred Fifty-two Dollars ($1,425, 952.00) to meet the general <br /> municipal expenses during said f iscal year and for deposit in <br /> the General Fund of said City. and the general municipal tax <br /> rate therefor is hereby levied and f ixed at $0.8927 on each One <br /> I ' <br />
