REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 6-7-04
MR. NOBLES: My name is Ralph Nobles and
I'm appearing before you tonight to ask the council
to continue the matter on Marina Shores Village, on
the grounds that the citizens of Redwood City are
not adequately informed.
What I'm referring to is that there are 27
significant unavoidable impacts on which this
Council is going to be asked to make a finding of
the overriding concerns.
Now, these impacts are listed but they're
just listed as impacts, they don't say whether
they're good impacts or bad impacts. And the
people of this town just don't know what this means
to them. And I think it's - - it's only reasonable
that this Council should make sure that everyone in
this City knows what these impacts mean and how it
will effect their lives.
And so I ask that you don't vote for
this - - these ordinances tonight but continue the
matter until there is a serious effort made to
inform the people of Redwood City what it really
means to them.
Thank you.
MAYOR IRA: Thank you.
That concludes our speaker cards tonight.
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 10
(650) 952-0774
',0
