REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
I liked it just the way it was then and I didn't
i 2 want - - I don't like anything that's happened
since. And that was in opposition to a project.
I don't remember what project or what we
did about it, but I hope that that's not my
attitude.
What I'm going to do is just hit the high
point because I tend to run out of time first.
It's been said that yeasts and humans are
the only organisms that thrive through the
systematic destruction of their own environment. I
think we're on the track with something like this.
I can't understand why on earth we're even
í
considering it.
As to the economics of it, I strongly
recommend that you consider getting something in --
something's going to be built there, I hope it
isn't this, but something will be. I hope y~u
consider the Development Agreement to contain some
kind of a clause so that the City has absolutely no
responsibility in the event that sea waters rise
and either the foundations are undermined, this
whole thing is under water, it needs to be diked to
protect it.
I envision this happening, it may happen
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 128
(650) 952-0774
.. ,
