REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
1 modification to the current noise abatement
i 2 procedure that exists, that negotiated by the
was
3 county with the Centennial neighborhood association
4 to basically do a 20 degree offset as soon as
5 practical after take-off.
6 And so in terms of - - we - - we fully expect
7 that we're going to have aircraft over flights, we
8 expect that as part of our negotiations with the
9 county.
10 With respect to the avigation easement,
11 we're going to be able to set an outer limit with
12 respect to what noise level will be and we're going
13 to have to design our buildings in such a way to
(
14 accommodate for that noise, in the same way that a
15 development that would be built near a railroad
16 track or next to a freeway would have to mitigate.
17 You know, there are certain conditions that require
18 us to create a noise environment not to exceed 45
19 decibels in the interior, so that will require some
20 enhancements on our part to account for that.
21 But part of what we thought would be
22 beneficial in terms of the avigation easement from
23 our perspective would be establishing kind of an
24 outer boundary for the noise and therefore allow us
25 to design the buildings accordingly.
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 152
(650) 952-0774
.'-
