HEYGOOD: I'm Redwood City's traffic <br />9 engineer. <br />10 I heard Mr. Keech talking about a fatal <br />11 flaw in terms of the EIR's focus, I think, on the <br />12 immediate area, and the impacts on 101, the Whipple <br />13 interchange, and looking at an area, really, within <br />í <br />14 a mile to a mile and a half of the project, and <br />15 what the impacts would be there. <br />16 And I think Mr. Keech was suggesting that <br />17 what was not really analyzed might be the trip <br />18 reduction - - potential trip reduction effects <br />19 related to the job's housing balance of this - - <br />20 this subregion Redwood City area. <br />21 COUNCIL MEMBER FOUST: Okay. So he was <br />22 more or less referring to a fatally flawed traffic <br />23 studies within the EIR. He left, so unfortunately <br />24 I can't ask him. <br />25 MR.
