REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
I think that most of the - - in fact, all
\ 2 the questions I had, have already been asked.
The -- I think that many of the people that -- that
have spoken against the project would be supportive
of the project if it was in a different location.
And I think many of the people that spoke on behalf
of the project would speak on behalf of the project
no matter where it was located because of the
housing.
And I think if you take a project this
size, with the density that we're looking at in the
Bay Area now, we're always going to have serious
water problems, we're going to have traffic
(
problems, and we're going to have density and
height issues, no matter where those are located.
And I think, for me, I think that it's
pretty well summed up in what the staff report is.
I mean, this process has gone on for four years
now, and certainly not fluidly for four years, but
it has been going on for four years now.
I think there's been a lot of time to study
lots of details on lots of issues. And actually on
page 7A2, the very last sentence in the book or not
the bo 0 k, in that report, the cover letter,
"However, the core issue still remains as to
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 206
(650) 952-0774
.'.
