REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
You saw these images previously from Tom so
I'll scroll through them quickly, that was a before
and after from Edgewood Park of the project. This
is Highway 101 southbound, before and after. As
Tom pointed out, the tallest building shown there
is a building that is a hotel site which may or may
not get built in that location.
Next.
Next.
When we talk about building heights, I
think Don Sandy, Terry Bottomley and Michael
Friedman would tell you it's more about the
architecture and not the height and density that
you should be concerned about from a design
standpoint.
This particular example is a comparison of
a project that exists in Baltimore today, we tried
to overlay our project on the same footprint and
you can see we're using much more slender towers.
The bulkiness has a tendency to lead to peoples
general concerns about - - about building height.
Next.
We think if -- if height - - we - - we think
that height can be pleasing if it's -- if it's done
properly.
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 46
(650) 952-0774
.-,
