REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
cycle.
Next.
As Tom mentioned, there was an EIR or some
analysis conducted in the EIR student yield
analysis that concluded that there would be
somewhere between 200 and 285 students in K through
8 and up to 580 students grades 9 through 12.
This - - the Redwood City School District and - - and
the City staff asked us to pay for a second
analysis, which we did, a second student yield
study. And you can see that the numbers came in
even lower than - - than the first one.
In addition, that study indicated that
there would be a decline in enrollment in the K
through 8 grades of approximately 700 students over
the next few years, and also a decline in the 9
through 12 grades through 2010 of approximately 400
students.
Next.
The state mandates a fee of approximately
$ 2 . 14 for each square foot of residential and 34
cents for commercial.
Based on our buildout projections of
residential and commercial, we'll be paying a
little over six million dollars over the course of
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 49
(650) 952-0774
..
