<br /> REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04 <br />1 Please take a look - - please take a moment <br />2 to take a look at the overhead display, it depicts <br />3 typical aircraft operations at San Carlos airport <br />4 for one week. And the orange denotes the arrivals <br />5 to San Carlos airport. And the purple denotes, or <br />6 blue, denotes departures from San Carlos airport. <br />7 Now as you can see, Marina Shores Village <br />8 is located under the existing arrival, departure <br />9 and traffic pattern to the airport, and it's only <br />10 7,000 feet from the runway. <br />11 Now, after looking at this map, is there <br />12 any doubt in your minds that the future residents <br />13 of Marina Shores Village are going to be impacted <br />14 by aircraft noise? In particular, I want to point <br />15 out that Marina Shores Village lies directly under <br />16 the existing southeast bound departure path fo r <br />17 runway 12. <br />18 And runway 12 is the runway that's used <br />19 during the early morning and night hours, when <br />20 residents are most effected by noise. <br />21 So when aircraft depart from that runway, <br />22 they go in a south easterly direction, right over <br />23 the Marina Shores Village project.
