My name is <br />9 Colleen Turner, and I am the new president of the <br />10 San Carlos Airport Pilots Association. <br />11 Many of our members are either residents or <br />12 business owners in Redwood City. Some of us, <br />13 including myself, are located here due to the <br />14 proximity and convenience of the San Carlos <br />15 airport. <br />16 We fully appreciate the potential economic <br />17 benefits that the Marina Shores Village project <br />18 generates for the City and the positive impact of <br />19 job creation and new housing development on the <br />20 surrounding community. <br />21 That being said, we also understand the <br />22 disruption and inevitable impact that aircraft <br />23 arrivals and departures from San Carlos airport <br />24 will have on the future residents of Marina Shores <br />25 Village and other neighborhoods. <br /> UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 60 <br /> (650) 952-0774 <br /> ..' <br />
