<br /> REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04 <br />1 the City and do everything in your power to ensure <br />2 that your residents are made aware of these <br />3 impacts. <br />4 An avigation easement will protect the <br />5 City, the developer, the airport and other <br />6 residents of the City, especially those in the <br />7 Centennial neighborhood and Redwood Shores. <br />8 The proposed Marina Shores Village project <br />9 is inside the lateral dimensions of the area where <br />10 avigation easements would normally be mandated by <br />11 the airport land use committee. The area where <br />12 Marina Shores Village would be located was <br />13 excluded, however, because at the time that the <br />14 avigation easement review area map was developed, <br />15 it was zoned for commercial development rather than <br />16 planned community development. <br />17 If there is any development anywhere around <br />18 the airport that particularly needs, requires the <br />19 protections and disclosures of an avigation <br />20 easement, this is the project. It is only 7,000 <br />21 feet from the runway and it includes towers that <br />'22 are 240 feet high. <br />23 Representatives from Glenborough-Pauls have <br />24 said on many occasions, including in front of the <br />25 Airport Land Commission, that it was their intent <br /> UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 63 <br /> (650) 952-0774 <br /> .. <br />
