Now, <br />2 despite substantial efforts by the chair and the <br />3 Land Use Commission, the San Carlos airport manager <br />4 and County Council to negotiate a avigation <br />5 easement, Glenborough-Pauls still has not committed <br />6 to granting an avigation easement that is <br />7 acceptable to the County. And I emphasize, <br />8 acceptable to the County. <br />9 Glenborough-Pauls, as Mr. Ridner stated, <br />10 has stated they will continue to negotiate the <br />11 avigation easement in good faith. <br />12 MAYOR IRA: You're on a roll, no problem. <br />13 One more minute. <br />14 MS. TURNER: The promise to negotiate, <br />15 however, may never result in an easement being <br />16 recorded. The packet that I will give to you after <br />17 the presentation includes the last agreed-upon <br />18 version of the avigation easement negotiated <br />19 between the parties. <br />20 The Airport Land Use Committee and County <br />21 of San Mateo have already recommended that <br />22 Glenborough-Pauls grant an avigation easement for <br />23 all the reasons I have described.
