REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
2003. Our neighborhood association submitted
í 2 written comments on this issue to the Planning
Commission in February. We also spoke on two
occasions at the public hearings.
To date there have been no changes to the
Precise Plan or project conditions to address this
issue.
And no one from the City has contacted our
neighborhood association to discuss our concerns.
Although we wholeheartedly 'support the
efforts of the pilots association to secure an
avigation easement, there is nothing in that
agreement that prevents future changes in the San
(
Carlos airport noise abatement procedures.
In response to noise complaints from Marina
Shores Village the airport could, in fact, make
changes in flight patterns that, again, directs
southern departures over our neighborhood or calm
day departures over neighborhoods in Redwood
Shores, San Mateo and Belmont.
We believe our recommendation that we've
outlined in our correspondence to you to require
specific wording in the real estate disclosure
documents is a workable solution. There may be
other ways to address this isque, however, once the
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 78
(650) 952-0774
.,- '
