My name is <br /> 5 Sally Probst. I represent the Housing Action <br /> 6 Coalition of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. <br /> 7 The Housing Action Coalition is composed of about a <br /> 8 hundred organizations and individuals who have an <br /> 9 interest in the economy and adequate housing and <br /> 10 affordable housing. Some of the organizations - - <br /> 11 well, we represent business and labor and tricounty <br /> 12 apartments and realtors and the Sierra Club and the <br /> 13 League of Women Voters and other nonprofits. It's <br />( <br /> 14 a very broad-based coalition. <br /> 15 We have been following Marina Shores for <br /> 16 months and months and months, and when the <br /> 17 buildings were higher than they are now. And we <br /> 18 urge you to approve this project. <br /> 19 We all know that this is one step in the <br /> 20 process and that there are other steps to come, and <br /> 21 that there are some factors which will need <br /> 22 mitigation, for example, traffic, and there are <br /> 23 possibilities, such as a shuttle bus, improved <br /> 24 transportation, highway intersections, et cetera, <br />\ 25 but this is a very important project for the area, <br /> UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 98 <br /> (650) 952-0774 <br /> .- <br />
