REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
1 three, it's been a long time, I don't remember for
i 2 sure, and the Council at that time had to pass a
3 resolution of overriding concerns.
4 This project has 25, 25, I think that sets
5 an all time sequel record, I'm sure it does, in the
6 whole state. It -- it just -- it's beyond the
7 bounds of anything that I've ever heard before.
8 And I think this -- this project is
9 significant enough and a bigger change and an
10 impact that it should be brought before the voters
11 of Redwood City. And if the voters of Redwood City
12 in their wisdom decide that it's okay, then
13 that's -- I won't say anymore about it.
r
14 But I think that that should be done. And
15 I would certainly support any movement to bring it
16 abou t.
17 And another thing, just to put in
18 perspective, the South Shores EIR with its -- with
19 its three significant unavoidable impacts, the most
20 significant -- the one which voters took most
21 significantly was the traffic impact. Well, the
22 traffic impact of this compared to the South Shores
23 is -- it's much worse than South Shores. And, you

24 know, I just -- I can't fathom how the Council can

\ 25 approve it practically in its present form.

UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 97
(650) 952-0774
