Artist shail maintain cover�e as required by the Califomia Labor Code. The Workers' Comperfsation policy shall contain an endorsemeM stating that the insurer waives any right ta subrogatian against the City,�s officers,agents,emptayees and vatunteers. 6.2, Natice of Canc81lation. This insurance will be in farce during the l�fe of the Agreement and any extiensions af it and will not be cance�d without Artist providing thirty(30} days pri�r written notice ta City sent pursuant to the Natice provisions of#his Agreement. 6.3 Providinn Ce�fificates of Insurance and Endorsetr�nts. Prior to City's execution of this Agreement, Artist sha0 provide to City certificates of insurance artd above-referenced endorsements sufficient to saEisfactian of City's Risk Manager. !n no event shali Artist commence any w�rk or provide any Senrices under thls Agreement untit cerdf�ates of insuranc$and endorsements have been accepted by Cit}+'s Risk Manager. 6.4 Failure to Maintain Co�eraae. If Aitist faffs to compiy wi#h these insurance ret�uirements, then City wili have the option to dectare Arkist in breach, or may puirchase repiacement insurance ar pay the premiums#hat are du�an existing paticies in order to maintain the required ooverages.,Artist is responsible far any payments made by City to abtain or maintain insurance and City may collect these payments from Artist or deduct tha amaunt pa€d from any sums due Artist unc�r this Agreement. 8.5 S�bmission of Insur�nce Palicies. Artist will obiain and maintain a City af Redwaad City Business l.icense fcar the tsrm af the Agreement, as may be amended from time-tatime. 8. Confli �f Interest. City wil} evaluate Artist's duties pursuant to this Agreement to deterrnine whether disclasure under the Political Reform Act arRd Clty"s Coniiict of Interest Cade is requi�ed af Artist or any of Artisfs employees, agents or subcontractors, Should it be determined that disclosure is �equired,Artist or ArrtisYs employees,agents, or subcont�actors wil!camplete and file with the Gity Clerk thase schedules specffied by City and contained in the Statement of Economic lnterests Farm 700. 9. Comaliar�ce Wi�h Laws. Artist will compfy with all applicable locai, s#ate and federal laws and regulations prohib�ing discrim�nation and harassment and will obtairr and maintain a City of Redw�od Ciry Business l.icense far the term of this Agreem+�nt. 10.
