The proposed project would be
located in a compatible noise environment with respect to noise generated by San
Carlos Airport. This is a less-than-significant impact.

San Carlos Airport is a county-owned, reliever airport for San Francisco International Airport. It is
located approximately 2.3 miles northwest of the project site. Although aircraft-related noise could
occasionally be audible at the project site, noise from aircraft would not substantially increase
ambient noise levels. The project site lies outside the airport influence area outlined on the San
Carlos Airport Noise Contours, which are shown in the City’s General Plan. Exterior noise levels
resulting from aircraft would be compatible with the proposed project. This is a less-than-significant
impact.

Mitigation Measure 6: None Required.

8.A. - Page 136
