pertaining to labor standards insofar as those acts apply to the performance of this <br /> Agreement. Contractor agrees to comply with the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act (18 <br /> U.S.C. 874 et seq.) and it's implementing regulations of the U.S. Department of <br /> Labor at 29 CFR Part 5. <br /> Contractor agrees that, pursuant to 42 USC 5310, all laborers and <br /> mechanics employed by contractors or subcontractors in the performance of <br /> construction work financed in whole or in part with assistance received from the <br /> Community Development Block Grant Funds shall be paid wages at rates not less <br /> than those prevailing on similar construction in the locality as determined by the <br /> Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended (40 <br /> U.S.C. 276a--276a-5); provided that this section shall apply to the rehabilitation of <br /> residential property only if such property contains not less than 8 units. <br /> A paragraph shall be incorporated in every agreement between Contractor <br /> and third parties in connection to the Project stating that the third party must comply <br /> with California Labor Laws and applicab�e Federal requirements. Contractor shall <br /> maintain documentation that demonstrates compliance with hour and wage <br /> requirements of this part. Such documentation shall be made available to the <br /> Grantee for review upon request. <br /> 22. SECTION 3 OF THE HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT <br /> OF 1986. Contractor hereby agrees that it will comply with the provisions of Section <br /> 3, the regulations set forth in 24 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) part 135, as <br /> that section may be amended from time to time, and all applicable rules and orders <br /> of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
