official of the City or Contractor. Contractor will incorporate in all subcontracts <br /> hereunder a provision prohibiting such interest. <br /> 18. LOBBYING PROHIBITED. Funds provided under this Agreement will <br /> not be used by Contractor for publicity or propaganda purposes designed to <br /> support or dafeat legislation pending before federal, state, or local government. <br /> 19. INHERENTLY RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY PROHIBITED. There will be no <br /> religious worship, instruction, or proselytizing as part of the program or services <br /> funded under this Agreement. <br /> The following restrictions and limitations shall apply to the services rendered <br /> by Contractor in connection with the terms of this Agreement: <br /> (a) Contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for <br /> employment on the basis of religion and will not limit employment or give <br /> preference in employment to persons on the basis of religion; and <br /> (b) Contractor wilt provide no religious instruction or counseling, conduct <br /> no religious worship or services, engage in no religious proselytizing, and exert no <br /> other religious influence related to the Project. <br /> 20. UNIFORM ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS. Contractor will <br /> comply with the requirements and standards of the Community Development Block <br /> Grant Regulations, OMB Circular A-122, Cost Principles for Non-Profit <br /> Organizations, as amended, OMB Circular A-110, Uniform Administrative <br /> Requirements for Grants and Agreements, as amended, and all other federal, <br /> state, and local laws, regulations and requirements, as applicable. <br /> 21. COMPLIANCE WITH CALIFORNIA LABOR LAWS AND FEDERAL <br /> REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor agrees to comply with the requirements of the <br /> Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, the <br /> provisions of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 327 <br /> et seq.) and all other applicable Federal, state and local laws and regulations <br /> ATTY/AGR/2015.197/CDBG CENTER OF INDEPENDENCE OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES <br /> REV:08-28-15 RL <br /> Page 9 of 15 <br />
